SIDI MOUJA - LE SAINT DES VAGUES -

Hamid, Hassan, Redouane et Hussein sont tous coiffeurs dans la médina de Rabat. Ils partagent une passion commune : la mer. Entre Ramadan et session de surf hivernale dans le sud marocain, Sidi Mouja est un documentaire-portrait intimiste et atypique représentatif d’une nouvelle génération marocaine. Film de Thomas BEKKERS et Stéphane SIMONET (34 mn).

Réalisé en 2004 et 2005 sur une période de 12 mois, ce film est un projet du coeur, celui d’un premier documentaire tourné entièrement en DV puis projeté à l’Institut français de Rabat et au festival les quatres coins du Monde, à Bruz, en France, un festival sur le film de voyage et d’aventure. Aujourd’hui Sidi Mouja circule librement sur Internet.
